About R4 Roofing

Jacob Clarkson of R4 Roofing is a 3rd generation Valley of the Sun native who started working construction with his dad’s framing business at about 5 years old. His earliest memories involve him and his brothers riding around in the back of the work truck going from job site to job site framing houses and cabins all around Arizona. Decades later and with 8 children of his own, Jacob continues the family tradition of raising hard-working young men and women and loves every minute of working along with his kids.

Never one to say no to a job, Jacob continued learning different trades and eventually began his own general contracting company along with his wife, but ultimately his childhood experiences in roofing and framing led him to specialize in these areas to maximize his product for his customers and retain top-notch talent on his team. His pride in his work and integrity guarantee his customers’ satisfaction in a job well done. When not out working, Jacob is busy raising his 8 children and often found at the river, wrestling match, music recital, or camping and purposefully and lovingly making life as ‘uncomfortable as possible for his teenagers.

Zac Beus was born and raised in Gilbert, AZ and spent his summers working with his grandpa on the farm. Between the hard work and the heat, he decided at a young age to get his education and leave the world of manual labor behind him. After working as a professional pianist through most of his 20’s, marriage and family pushed him to get back into school where he earned his Supply Chain Management and Business Sustainability degrees from ASU, and from there his corporate career began.

However, after several years working for fortune 500 companies, the call to be his own boss and see more than just graphs and spreadsheets as the fruits of his labors proved to great a force, and when the opportunity to partner with Jacob came about, everything else fell into place and R4 Roofing was born.

As the organizational guru, Zac uses his talents and skills he learned from overseeing multimillion dollar supply chains to ensure that R4 Roofing runs a peak optimization, resulting in quick and efficient turn around times for his customers. His ability to plan, communicate, and execute amongst his team and with his customers will ensure that your roof gets done according to schedule and with the best materials available on the market.

On evenings and weekends, Zac still can be found from time to time playing music around town, but mostly spends his days with his wife of 10 years and his daughter Abbey. A self taught chef, he also loves hosting friends and family for dinner and doing dutch oven cooking up in the mountains. Zac also spends his time volunteering within his faith and community, and it was as a Scoutmaster that he first met Jacob and his boys.
